Tesla Power Equipments & Projects Private Limited offers a wide range of products and services in the Electric Power sector, complying to various national/international standards & specification. The high quality standards set up by the company are appreciated by our customers in India and abroad.
Transformers are critical components in solar & wind energy production and distribution. Historically, transformers have “stepped-up” or “stepped-down” energy from non-renewable sources. There are different types of solar & wind transformers, including distribution, substation, pad-mounted, and grounding transformers. All Solar & Wind transformers have specialized need that impact costs. Normally these types transformers are accommodated by devices that measure heat related volume variations. Gas cushion is used to compensate the volume variation due to heat, normally gas is Nitrogen which is thermally decoupled from the dielectric liquid.
Power Transformer plays a vital role in power networks, its life and performance play a significant role in the Electrification, transmission and has direct impact on the grid stability.
We at Tesla manufactures Power Transformers ensuring quality at each stage of manufacturing and didn’t compromise on the quality terms. Each Power transformers undergoes quality standard and internationally accepted norms and regulations, Tesla’s Power Transformers are well known for their quality, excellent performance, reliability on the different environmental conditions and responsive after Sales & Service.
Tesla manufactures a wide range of distribution transformers, ranging from 25 KVA to 5000 KVA, with various voltage classes up to 33 kV. Our transformers are available in multiple designs, including free-breathing units—fitted with a conservator or hermetically sealed. The liquid-filled range can be cooled using either tank-mounted plate radiators or by the corrugations on the sides of their tanks, known as conventional type transformers.
Free-breathing units, whether equipped with a conservator or not, are typically oil-filled, while hermetically sealed transformers can utilize either oil or low-flammability synthetic fluids. Both types can be supplied with HV and LV switchgear, making them suitable for incorporation into substations. Furthermore, we take pride in our production of amorphous and CRGO core transformers, ensuring that all our products comply with BIS levels 1, 2, and 3.
Dry type transformers, insulated with class 'H' & 'C' materials, are designed to withstand high temperatures and possess high dielectric strength. They are generally manufactured in accordance with IEC 60076 standards, offering a range from 100 KVA to 15000 KVA and 33 KV class.
